I am Amaryllis Lily, the trumpet of joy. My bold blossoms rise from bulbs, filling homes and gardens with color and elegance. I thrive in warm climates, offering seasonal beauty and dramatic blooms.

I am a bulbous ornamental plant producing large trumpet-shaped flowers.

Native to South America; cultivated worldwide.

Water moderately; keep soil moist but not soggy during growth; reduce watering after flowering.

Bright indirect light indoors; full sun outdoors.

Thrives in 18–28°C; sensitive to frost.

Plant bulbs half-submerged in well-drained soil; spacing 20–30 cm apart.

Balanced liquid fertilizer every 2 weeks during growth.

Botanical name: Hippeastrum spp.; Family: Amaryllidaceae.

Toxic to cats and dogs if ingested (contains lycorine).

Low; mainly ornamental.

Provides ornamental beauty, indoor decoration, and seasonal blooms.

Susceptible to bulb rot if overwatered; pests include aphids and spider mites.
