Greetings! I am the Garmado plant, a resilient and unique succulent known for my striking geometric patterns and drought-tolerant nature. I bring architectural beauty and low-maintenance charm to your garden or indoor space, thriving with minimal care while making a bold visual statement.
I'm a hardy succulent prized for my tightly packed, triangular leaves that form beautiful rosettes, often with stunning color variations from green to reddish-pink tips.
I'm perfect for rock gardens, containers, sunny windowsills, or as part of drought-tolerant landscapes where my sculptural form can be appreciated.
I'm incredibly forgiving and can withstand periods of neglect, making me ideal for busy plant lovers or those new to succulent care.
I originate from the dry, rocky regions of Madagascar, where I've adapted to thrive in harsh, arid conditions.
Water me thoroughly only when the soil is completely dry—typically every 2-3 weeks in warm months.
In winter, reduce watering to once a month or less. I am highly susceptible to root rot, so when in doubt, it's safer to underwater than overwater.
I love plenty of bright, direct sunlight—at least 6 hours daily is ideal.
Full sun encourages my most vibrant colors and compact growth. I can tolerate some light shade, but too little light will cause me to stretch and lose my tight form.
I thrive in warm temperatures between 18°C and 30°C.
I am not frost-tolerant and must be protected from temperatures below 5°C. I prefer dry air and low humidity.
Select a pot with excellent drainage holes—terra cotta works well.
Use a gritty, fast-draining cactus or succulent potting mix.
Plant me so the base of the rosette is level with the soil surface.
Wait 5-7 days before watering after repotting.
Allow soil to dry completely between waterings.
Place me in the sunniest location available.
Remove any dead lower leaves to keep me tidy and healthy.
Feed me with a diluted, balanced succulent fertilizer once at the start of the growing season (spring).
I am a light feeder—too much fertilizer can damage my roots or cause weak growth.
Scientific Name: Aloe capitata var. garmado

I am considered mildly toxic if ingested by cats or dogs and may cause vomiting or lethargy. It's best to place me out of reach of curious pets.
Like other succulents, I help improve air quality by releasing oxygen and absorbing carbon dioxide, particularly at night.
