I am the Madhumalti Vine, the romantic cascade of color and sweetness. My vibrant clusters of pink, red, or white trumpet flowers bloom profusely, covering walls and trellises in a fragrant, cheerful blanket that attracts hummingbirds and butterflies all season long.
I am a fast-growing, evergreen flowering climber, adored for my non-stop, showy blooms, sweet fragrance, and ability to quickly cover structures with a spectacular floral display.
Native to South America; widely cultivated and naturalized in tropical and subtropical gardens worldwide, especially in India.
Water regularly to keep soil moist, especially during summer and flowering. Tolerates brief dry spells once established.
Requires full sun for maximum flowering. Can tolerate light shade but may bloom less.
Thrives in warm climates (20-35°C). Sensitive to frost and prolonged cold.
Plant in well-drained, fertile soil. Provide a strong trellis, arch, or fence for support. Space 2-3 meters apart.
