I am the Garlic Vine, the tropical cascade of delicate purple fragrance. My lush green foliage erupts in stunning clusters of lavender, trumpet-shaped flowers that emit a subtle garlic-like scent when crushed, creating a breathtaking floral curtain for arbors and fences.

I am a vigorous, evergreen flowering climber, cherished for my prolific and showy blooms that appear in cascading clusters, adding a spectacular visual and mild aromatic element to gardens.

Native to tropical South America, particularly Brazil and Venezuela; widely cultivated in tropical and subtropical gardens worldwide.

Water regularly to keep soil evenly moist, especially during flowering season. Tolerates short dry spells but prefers consistent moisture.

Prefers full sun to partial shade. Flowers most profusely with ample sunlight.

Thrives in warm, frost-free climates (20-30°C). Sensitive to cold and frost.

Plant in well-drained, fertile soil. Provide a strong trellis, pergola, or fence for support. Space 2-3 meters apart.

Feed monthly during the growing season with a balanced, high-phosphorus fertilizer to promote blooming.
