Hey there, friend! I'm the Aloe 'Blizzard' Plant, your charming and compact succulent that brings a touch of frosty beauty and practical benefits to your space. With my stunning white-speckled leaves and easy-going nature, I'm the perfect little companion for busy plant lovers!
I'm a delightful dwarf aloe variety known for my attractive green leaves covered in white spots and streaks that look like a gentle snowfall.
Succulent enthusiasts love me for my unique coloring, small size, and air-purifying qualities.
I'm perfect for windowsills, desks, and small spaces — anywhere you need a pop of natural beauty without the fuss!
I'm a cultivated variety, bred from aloe species that originally come from the sunny, arid regions of Africa and the Arabian Peninsula.
Water me thoroughly when the soil is completely dry — usually every 2-3 weeks.
I store water in my leaves, so I'm quite drought-tolerant.
In winter, I need even less water — sometimes just once a month!
I love bright, indirect sunlight for 4-6 hours daily.
I can handle some direct morning sun, but harsh afternoon sun might scorch my beautiful leaves.
My white variegation becomes more pronounced with good light
I'm comfortable in temperatures between 15°C and 27°C.
I need protection from frost and extreme cold — I'm a warm-weather lover at heart!
Choose a small pot with excellent drainage holes
Use fast-draining cactus or succulent soil mix
Plant me so the base of my leaves is level with the soil surface
Wait a few days before watering after repotting
Place me in a bright spot with indirect sunlight
I'm happy being slightly root-bound, so no frequent repotting needed!
Feed me with diluted succulent fertilizer (NPK 5-10-10) once in spring and once in summer.
I'm a light feeder — too much fertilizer can harm my delicate roots.
Organic options like compost tea work well too!
Scientific Name: Aloe hybrid 'Blizzard'
Common Names: Snowflake Aloe, White Aloe, Blizzard Aloe
Plant Family: Asphodelaceae
Plant Type: Indoor Succulent
I'm mildly toxic to cats and dogs if ingested, potentially causing vomiting or lethargy.
Better to keep me out of reach of curious pets!
I'm great at improving indoor air quality by absorbing toxins and releasing oxygen, especially at night!
I also help clear the air of common household pollutants.
Compact size perfect for small spaces
Unique white-speckled appearance
Low maintenance and drought-tolerant
Potential skin-soothing properties like other aloes
Brown, soft leaves (overwatering)
Pale, stretched growth (not enough light)
Brown leaf tips (too much direct sun)
Loss of white spots (insufficient light)
Most issues are easily fixed with care adjustments!
With proper care, I can live for 5-8 years in containers, producing offsets (pups) to continue my legacy and share with friends!
